I have been reading more and the problem might be the router is killing the connection
FTP has 2 connections manager and data
so while the data connection is alive, the manager is idle
so router is killing after 15 mins
does scriptFTP support "keep alive" feature?????
this problem doesn't happen if I use a client like filezilla

Hello,
ScriptFTP does not have a keep alive function, sorry. It is a must have feature I s houldinclude in the next version. In the meanwhile the connection errors should be addressed using the GOTO command. For example:
The problem with this approach is that every file is downloaded again if one fails. Using SYNC or downloading the files in different groups is a possible solution.

Code: Select all

IF($result!="OK")
# If this is the third attempt stop execution
IF($attempts==3)
STOP
