I noticed that my sript will not download file if they do not have file extensions. Is there a way to make it do that?

Try this:
[scriptftp="fixed.ftp"]$result=SYNC("d:\webservers\db_backups","/",DOWNLOAD,SUBDIRS,"*")[/ScriptFTP]
Note that I have changed *.* to *
"*.*" means "any file with an extension"
"*" means "any file"
[scriptftp="fixed.ftp"]$result=SYNC("d:\webservers\db_backups","/",DOWNLOAD,SUBDIRS,"*")[/ScriptFTP]
Note that I have changed *.* to *
"*.*" means "any file with an extension"
"*" means "any file"
