When a script finishes with success, the window background should turn green.
On failure it should turn red.

That would spare time. After a script finishes I have to scroll the window and make sure there has been no error.

Turning the entire ScriptFTP window green or red would be a problem to some users. Even if the FTP script founds some errors it may be considered successful.

For example, many FTP scripts create folders where they need to upload or download files. They use LOCALMKDIR or MKDIR and these commands return an error if the folder already exists but they are user anyway to be sure that the folder will actually be there.

Like this case are many with ScriptFTP

I think that just highlighting the error in red like as it is already done is a good compromise. However, if anyone have another similar idea or just like what vjedlicka proposed please post here.

I think this should stay as it is for the reasons you mentioned. It could complicate things in certain situations otherwise.
