TEXTLENGTH

Returns the number of characters of a text value

Syntax: TEXTLENGTH(text)

  • text: source text.


Return value:
The number of characters of the parameter text.

# Prints 12
$count=TEXTLENGTH("whatever 123")
PRINT($count)

# Prints the file name without the extension
$filename="testing.txt"
